The ILLAPG held an industry Open Day, kindly hosted by the GGR Group, which took place on Thursday 5th June 2025 at GGR’s depot in Haddenham, Buckinghamshire and supported by Skanska and the CPA.
Despite the wet weather, some estimated 360 delegates attended the event which showcased both new and existing equipment and technology as well as a series of presentations from industry professionals on a range of subjects, including future fuels, lifitng operations in wind and tool box talks.
The ILLAPG thank those who attended, with remarks subsequently being received that said – “It was an overwhelming success, with fantastic speakers, great networking opportunities, brilliant demos and of course—top-tier hospitality”.
The ILLAPG extends special thanks to the GGR Group for hosting the event, which coincided with their 30th anniversary of being in business.
Dave Borley, President of the ILLAPG said “My thanks to all who attended the GGR and ILLAPG open day and the feedback so far from both exhibitors and visitors has been very positive.
Our industry does have high levels of risk, but events such as these showcase how collaboration in bringing the right people together to share knowledge, innovations and ideas, helps improve us all and make our work-place a much safer place.
There are also many members of the ILLAPG who helped by bringing equipment and exhibits plus the many innovations shared.
A special thank you goes to Gill and Graham Riley and their entire team at GGR who worked tirelessly to create such a well-received special day. I would also like to thank Skanska and CPA for their continued support on the day.
